TRIBUTE TO JOANNE
 |
|
JoAnne Roesler Wilson
|
On the morning of December 29, 2002, JoAnne Roesler Wilson
was killed by a drunk driver. JoAnne was a well-know victims' advocate in the community, and today her family is equally committed to preserving her
legacy and defending the life that was so senselessly taken.
UPDATE: On April 29, 2004, 16 months after JoAnne's
death, her killer was finally sentenced to prison. Michael Faucett received the
maxium penalty punishable by criminal law, a total of nine years, from Noblesville
Judge Stephen Nation. Among other factors effecting the decision, Judge Nation
noted
that Faucett has shown no remorse, nor had he taken accountability for his actions,
and deemed Faucett to be a danger to the community.
